Trust & safety

Living together is a big step. Here is how we help both sides feel safe and respected.

Who can join

Companions must be 18 or older. Every host and companion applies personally, and we read every application before anyone is listed.

Verification

We confirm the identity of hosts and companions before their listing goes live, and may ask for references.

Meet before you move

Every match starts with a video call, so both sides can ask questions and get a feel for each other.

Agree it in writing

Before a stay begins, host and companion agree the essentials in writing: the space and meals provided, medical cover, what companionship looks like day to day, house rules, personal boundaries, and how much notice either side gives to end the stay.

Start with a trial period

A short trial lets both sides make sure the arrangement works before committing to longer.

Respect and boundaries

This is companionship built on mutual agreement and respect. Either side can say no at any point, and either side can end the arrangement as agreed.

Local rules

Rules on housing, work and residence differ around the world. We will point you to what applies where you live, and recommend checking before a stay begins.

If something goes wrong

Contact us straight away and we will help. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
